The Children’s Association – Minneapolis was established in 1958 with the purpose of raising funds to build a children’s hospital. Over the past 57 years, the Association has donated over $12 million to help support programs and projects to meet the special needs of patients and families cared for by Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
Programs and projects at Children’s Minnesota that have benefitted from these funds include: Adolescent Health, Chaplaincy and Bereavement, Great Clips Family Resource Center, Star Studio, Family Needs Fund, Child Life Department, Pain & Palliative Care, Child and Family Services, General Pediatrics Clinic, MN SID Center, Music Therapy, PAWH (Pets Assisting with Healing), and the Welcome Center.
